The single-use medical airway is made of polymer materials.
It consists of a curved hollow tube (oval cross-section flattened in the anteroposterior direction), whose anatomical shape follows the curvature of the tongue and palate, and a limiting flange that prevents the airway from slipping into the mouth.
Airways have a smooth shape, rounded atraumatic edges, and a reinforced bite section preventing the airway from being bitten through
